Alvin: The universe is expanding...
Dr. Flicker: (to Alvin) The universe is expanding?
Alvin: Well, the universe is everything and, if it’s expanding, someday it will break apart and that will be the end of everything.
Mother: (to Alvin) What is that your business?... (to Dr. Flicker) He stopped doing his homework!
Alvin: What’s the point?
Mother: (to Alvin) What has the universe got to do with it? You’re here in Brooklin. Brooklin is not expanding!
Dr. Flicker: (to Alvin) It won’t be expanding for billions of years, Alvin... and we gotta try to enjoy ourselves while we’re here, hun? Hun? Ahahahahahaha
